A tasty, delicious soup that is not difficult to cook at all. Most of the ingredients are easily available in the house.
Verdict - A tasty soup with 8 ingredients and the quantity required can be estimated according to own preference.

Ingredients
[serves 4-5]
1 chicken whole leg or 2 chicken thigh - cut into pieces - blanch in hot water, drain
3 chicken feet [I omit] - blanch in hot water, drain
1500 ml water
70 gm peanuts - soak until soft
30 gm soy beans - soak until soft
1 small piece preserved turnip [da tou cai] - sliced and soaked
3-4 dried mussels - washed and soaked for 10 minutes, drain
10 seedless red dates
1 flower white fungus - soaked
1 small carrot - peeled and sliced or cut into chunks
1 tbsp medlar seeds [goji]
- Bring water to boil. Add in all the ingredients except chicken, carrot and goji. Return to boil, then lower heat to simmer for about 15 minutes or until nuts and beans are soft.
- Add in chicken and carrots, simmer until ingredients are cooked.
- Lastly add in goji and seasoning to taste.
- Serve hot.
